2006 Benwarin Verdelho

Hunter Valley

Benwarin logo

Like most people, I tend to cling to my favourites when selecting wines.  However I love nothing better than discovering a new label that delivers both quality and value.

The small winery of Benwarin in the Hunter Valley has recently captured my attention due to the high quality of its white wines.  Their philosophy is to produce well made wine at accessible prices and this is certainly true for their current release Verdelho.

Filled with mouthfuls of fruit salad flavours, this wine is just delicious to drink.  It is smooth and soft with no jagged edges making it very easy to enjoy.  So if you are looking for a casual white to suit a myriad of occasions and food styles, then Benwarin Verdelho is a great choice.

Look out for their 2005 Chardonnay which is also fabulous.

Contact the winery and order direct.
