2005 Cape Mentelle Chardonnay

Margaret River in Western Australia produces some of the nations finest Chardonnay.  This latest release from Cape Mentelle is testament to the suitability of the region to Chardonnay and the heights in quality that can be achieved.

This is a wine with both freshness and complexity.  It has a beautiful pale colour and fine lemon aromatics.  The palate is filled with sweet nectarine flavours and the acidity is high, yet balanced.

This is a classy wine deserving of fine cuisine.  Serve with Western Australian marron for a match made in heaven.
