2008 Clairault Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Clairault is a small producer in Margaret River that produces distinctive, flavoursome wines. I have recently been charmed by their 2008 Clairault Semillon Sauvignon Blanc which is both herbaceous and fruity. Alongside the snow pea and grassy aromas are some delightful passionfruit and tropical fruit characters. There is good acidity and it is very well balanced. It is a great example of the SSB style that Western Australia is so renowned for.
