The festive period is now upon us so it is time to break out the bubbly to celebrate and reflect on 2007. One of the best wines of the season is Hardys Sir James Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay and with its recent packaging upgrade it now looks as classy as it tastes.
I must confess that I love everything about this wine. The bubbles are lovely and fine which gives the palate a delicious creamy texture. The aroma is complex and layered and there is an abundance of flavour which is heightened by acidity. Best of all it is widely available so you wont have to waste precious time hunting around for it.
