2005 Millbrook Viognier

Millbrook from Western Australia is a consistent producer of Viognier and their 2005 vintage is another example of just how good it can be.

It is a very fruit driven style, laden with ripe fruit characters. The apricot tones on the nose are enlivened by delicate florals which are enticing to the drinker. The palate is filled with apricot and honeydew flavours and the finish is gently spicy.

It would make a great accompaniment to mildly spiced food, as well as rich terrines and pâtés.
