This is a gem of a wine produced from a small family vineyard in the Henty region of South West Victoria. The production is tiny, yet the quality is outstanding. The wine opens with true Pinot aromas of ripe fragrant berries with a gentle background of spice. There is a whisper of fresh herbs that adds interest and intrigue. The wine has good weight, balanced acidity and an appealing bitter cherry finish. This wine was the recipient of the 2005 Boutique Wine Awards Trophy for Pinot Noir. It has been made by passionate people who have a true love of wine production and is definitely worth seeking out.
