2006 Pirie South
Sauvignon Blanc

2006 Pirie South Sauvignon Blanc

If you are a lover of Sauvignon Blanc, especially those with pungency and vitality, I urge you to search out this stunning wine from Tasmania. Made by the renowned Andrew Pirie, this is a wine with true personality.

In many ways, this wine is akin to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, with its strong herbaceous notes on the nose. However it is the generosity of fruit flavours on the palate which make it such a pleasure to drink. If is filled with soft, sweet-scented fruits and perfectly balanced acidity.

This is a most delicious lunch wine, partnering delights such as fresh crab, white fleshed fish or garden salads.

Available from good wine stores.
$22.50
