2004 Cockfighter's Ghost Semillon
Hunter Valley
Sourced form the Broke Fordwich region of the Hunter Valley, this sensational Semillon is a cut above the rest. As expected, it has definitive lemon characters and a clean, fresh finish but what sets this wine apart from the crowd is its mid palate weight. The added depth of flavour and palate weight that comes from skilful viticulture and winemaking makes this wine immensely drinkable. In true Hunter style, this wine is unwooded allowing the pure Semillon flavours to shine through. Enjoy this wine for its uncomplicated freshness. Great with fish.
