2006 Tim Gramp Riesling

Being a die hard Clare Valley fan, I am always thrilled to discover a new ‘favourite’ wine from the region. Tim Gramp Riesling from Watervale is my new flavour of the month, with its focussed flavours and enviable balance.

The wine delivers a true regional experience, with a mix of both floral and citrus characters. There is great breadth of flavour on the palate, with gorgeous chalky acidity which begs you to take sip after sip.

It is the sort of wine that is simply divine now, though it will also look good with some bottle age. So if you can resist, try to hold a couple of bottles back for the future

Look out for both the 2005 and 2006 vintages which are both excellent.
