WINE INDUSTRY - NEW & INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Ever wondered if it was possible to simply shop for a wine label? Now you can ...
Graphic Language Design is an award-winning wine industry specialist offering a portfolio of around 150 unique 'off the shelf' wine label designs called the 'Ready to Wear' Wine Label Collection. Director, Diana Jaquillard, developed the collection to complement their customised wine label design service.
The concept came about because they recognised the need for clients to have choices without spending money on having designers develop concepts that did not fulfill their brief. In fact, Graphic Language Design won a Silver Medal for Wine Label Design at a recent San Francisco Wine Show because a happy client submitted a 'Ready to Wear' Wine Label they had purchased.
"As designers, we come up with creative ideas all the time, so the 'Ready to Wear' collection was a way of utilising our innovative design concepts for the benefit of clients," says Jaquillard. "It is also a great way for clients who need a new design quickly and who don't have a specific design brief."
You can view their portfolio at their Adelaide studio or contact Graphic Language Design to view online at a confidential address. Once a label is selected it can then be easily modified to be placed on your wine bottle. This is a fast and economical solution to labelling, making easy for wineries to select a label and get it to market.
The 'Ready to Wear' collection is also cost-effective because the client owns the copyright to the final design without paying additional copyright fees.
"But it is not just about wine labels," says director Diana Jaquillard, "every element is important, so we also design the closures, packaging, web sites and all other marketing collateral to ensure strong branding and consistency."
"Wise investment in design strategies will yield financial
success, customer loyalty and repeat business" - DJ.
"We service numerous international clients, so we are aware of styles that work in different markets. Today people are bombarded with media, so it is absolutely vital to have a strong brand to stand out from the thousands of products out there and compete successfully for attention."
Graphic Language Design's core business is customised design of all promotional material for the wine industry. They work from business inception with corporate identity and brand development to publishing items as diverse as brochures, POS items and trade show displays to web sites and emailed newsletters. They also design PowerPoint and multimedia for live presentations.
There is a good choice of designs,
both modern and traditional.
"Graphic design, across different media, is essential for positioning wine in target markets. Wineries need to have a consistent visual message which includes its own web presence as well as inclusion on social networking sites such as Twitter and FaceBook - it all needs to connect."
"Why be on Twitter if people can't order your wine online, and why have a wine label and not include your web address on it? It's all about interconnecting and good communication," says Jaquillard.
Graphic Language Design is one of the most respected design businesses in Australia. Headed by Diana Jaquillard and her senior designer Julie Capurso, GLD has over a quarter century of experience, incredibly talented designers and offers clients a great one-on-one experience in a creative environment.
