The most popular oak used in Australia is French oak and American oak. Other oaks include German oak and Hungarian oak.
Products produced from these oak trees include oak barrels, hogsheads and barriques, oak staves, oak chips and oak racks.
Recycled oak is also used for oak furniture and bar equipment used in cellar doors such as spittoons, display cabinets, trays and platters just to name a few.
