Tasting notes
Tasting notes for recent releases and award winners for some of Australia's best Margaret River wine
Supremely supple with intense blackberry/plum fruit and liberal dusting of exotic spice. It's big and flavoursome but shows that great Margaret River trait: exceptional poise and balance.
One of our most premium wines. A 50% Shiraz and 50% Cabernet Blend that is soft and silky smooth, with ripe cassis and berry fruits and hints of dark chocolate.
"...On the palate, which is wonderfully seamless and refined, oak and fruit integrate perfectly with the fine ripe tannins. Has delicious sweet red fruit ... and a silky finish. Classy wine." 95 points. Ray Jordan
This quintessential Shiraz Cabernet from low-yielding vines, was aged in top quality French oak. The grapes were picked six weeks later than usual, resulting in a silky medium-bodied wine of great fruit intensity with attractive dusty tannins. The Nation’s top palates love it too!
This stand out wine is rich with dark chocolate, dense blackcurrant and red berries. A subtle touch of mint is rounded out by some stylish French oak. Full of flavour yet well balanced and smooth with great structure and character.
