Wirra Wirra Vineyards, established in 1894, is regarded by many as one of South Australia's most renowned wineries. The cellar re-built in 1969-70 by the cousins Trott is a must visit whilst traveling through McLaren Vale. The winery has built an enviable reputation for hand-crafting regionally distinctive wines made from varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, grenache, chardonnay and riesling to name but a few.
